Abstract:
This research paper proposes an efficient solution to the persistent blood supply shortage by introducing a cloud computing web application that streamlines the process of blood donation, storage, and distribution. The proposed system enables donors to register and find blood banks based on their geographical location, allowing them to contribute to the emergency blood supply in a more organized and effective manner. The system also allows blood banks to manage their inventory and monitor blood supply and demand in real-time. Furthermore, it empowers hospitals to request blood units from nearby blood banks seamlessly. The evaluation of the system's performance metrics indicates that it is highly scalable and can handle a vast number of requests simultaneously. In summary, this research paper underscores the pivotal role that cloud computing can play in enhancing the availability of blood for those in critical situations, ultimately resulting in the preservation of invaluable lives.
