Design of Fall Detection System Based on Infrared -Visible Camera and Internet of Things Technology

According to statistics, the incidence of falls among the elderly in China is as high as 30%, and falls have become one of the most important reasons threatening the safety and health of the elderly. A deep learning-based infrared-visible fall remote alarm system is designed to address the problem that it is difficult to detect falls of elderly people in time, resulting in high death and disability rates. The system deploys infrared or visible light cameras for different indoor scenarios to balance “privacy” “accuracy” and “comfort” and is equipped with a voice recognition module. The basic information interaction function is realized by IOT technology. The experimental results show that the fall alarm system operates stably, with good performance and reliable data transmission.
