A kind of Ku band Sum-Difference Monopulse Radar Receiver front-end

In this paper, a Ku band sum-difference monopulse radar receiver front-end is designed. In order to greatly improve ability of the system to resist out-of-band signal interference, we use the frequency selection characteristic of pre-bandpass filter to improve reception out-of-band IIP3. Numerical control phase shifrer and numerical control attemuator are used to realize the amplitude an phase adjustment requirements between channels and the automatic gain control function of the system range gate parameters on the receiving channel. The measured results of this receiver front-end show that: the noise figure is better than 4.1 dB, the phase consistency within ±7.1°and the amplitude consistency is within ±0.5dB between the different components.
