Methodology for Determining the Thermal Properties of the Heat Insulation Panels Using a Gray Box Model

The main methodological steps in determining the coefficient of thermal conductivity of the tested thermal insulation panel are considered. An RC analogy to electrical circuits is defined where heat flow can be modeled as current, temperature as a voltage source, and thermal storage as capacitance. The developed methodology can also be used in the training of students in the field of measuring the properties of thermal insulation materials
