Practices and Reflections on the Construction of Smart Scenic Spots Based on the Internet Plus Initiative

From the perspective of tourists, this paper analyzes the background of constructing smart scenic spots. Based on the example of the construction of smart scenic spots in Jinan, it highlights the tourist service systems developed by 5G technologies such as AR/VR, holographic projection, naked eye 3D and drones: One-stop Mobile App for Traveling in Jinan and intelligent robots. The mobile app provides a full range of intelligent tour guide services for tourists before, during and after the tour. The intelligent robot enables the guiding, interaction, leading, shopping guide and tour guide experience in a specific scope of scenic spots, as well as the sales of tickets and other functions. On this basis, it proposes new directions for the future development of scenic spots, such as the development of cloud tourism, resilience development of scenic spots, training of smart tourism professionals, and risk governance of scenic spots.
