Three-Dimensional Reconstruction Algorithm with Reverse-Projection Constraints

This paper proposes a Reverse-Projection Constraint Bundle Adjustment (BA) algorithm suitable for Structure from Motion (SFM). The basic idea of this algorithm is to add Reverse-Projection error constraints to the cost function based on the classic BA algorithm. The introduction of these constraints not only improves the accuracy of optimization but also provides the possibility for dynamic adjustment of the optimization scale. Compared with the classic global BA, this algorithm significantly reduces computational complexity and provides more accurate camera pose estimation. We evaluate the speed of algorithm optimization and the accuracy of camera pose and three-dimensional point coordinate estimation on simulated datasets and TAT datasets, confirming that the optimization algorithm proposed in this paper can achieve higher accuracy and reduce the scale of optimization.
