A DPSS-based Computing Method to Speed up Wireless Channel Emulation

This paper presents a method that could reduce the computational complexity of the channel coefficients in 3GPP (3rd Generation Partner Project) standard model and the amount of data transferred. A kind of DPSS (Discrete Prolate Spheroidal Sequences)-based algorithm is used in the proposed method. The results show that the calculation time is reduced by 1 order compared to the traditional CDL (Clustered Delay Line) channel emulation method.
