Factors Affecting Intention to Use Food Ordering Applications in Jabodetabek

During and after the COVID-19 pandemic, human behavior has been significantly impacted, especially in the way food is ordered. Due to limited mobility and severe social restrictions, consumers generally prefer to order food through mobile food ordering applications (MFOAs). However, in this situation, MFOAs are beginning to receive several complaints from users. In this future research, four main factors will be tested, including time-saving, price-saving, perceived usefulness, and prior online purchase experience. This study will focus on these four factors using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The main contribution of this study is to determine whether these four factors affect users’ intention to use mobile food ordering applications in Jabodetabek. The hope is that this research will provide a better understanding of how these four factors play an important role in users’ intention to use food ordering applications.
