Compact Reconfigurable Antenna for 5G Bands

Highly developed antenna technology has a significant impact on wireless technology. The need for small-sized antennas is rising because of the quick development of technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT) in today's communication system. Antennas play an important role in IoT applications in compact reconfigurable antenna for 5G networks. Some of the roles of antennas in IoT applications are enabling wireless communication, reconfigurability, Radiation pattern control, Low profile design.Microstrip patch antennas are often used in IoT applications due to their adaptability, low profile, lighter in weight, and precision applications in the microwave frequency band.Configured compact antennas can be used in various technology applications due to their compatibility and high performance. This work is designing a compact configurable antenna for 5G band with FR-4(Flame retardant) substrate material. To identify which antennas were suitable for which applications, their performance was examined. The compact size of antennas allows for easy integration into small and compact IoT devices, making them essential components of modern communication systems.
