Wireless Charging Station System for Autonomous Drone

Modern world moving towards drones for delivery, the necessity to develop suitable charging solution for these drones is imminent. Charging stations are required to make these drones work. Drones can be charged with these intelligent wireless charging stations. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that can deliver small packages are known as delivery drones. Drones typically utilize rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries to provide the thrust required to fly and attach packages beneath the drone's body. In practical application, these drones work autonomously and hence require smart wireless charging solution to overcome various limitations. Creating number of smart wireless charging station systems form a smart charging hub to charge these autonomous drones. These charging stations use direct AC supply and sends it to mini transformer circuit for the purpose of mutual induction. The charging station will have primary coil while the charger in the drone have secondary coil. Mutual induction takes places between these two coils, AC power is transferred into the secondary coil which is converted into suitable DC power using rectifier and regulator to charge the drone.
