Design of an Electronic Online Learning Platform Based on WebGIS Algorithm

With the rapid development of information technology and the popularization of the Internet, electronic online learning platforms have become an important educational method. WebGIS (Web Geographic Information System) algorithm, as a new type of geographic information processing technology, can be applied to the design of electronic online learning platforms. This article aimed to explore the application value of WebGIS algorithm in the design of electronic online learning platforms. This article introduced the design concept, system architecture, database structure, and implementation methods of several core modules of an electronic online learning platform based on WebGIS algorithm. The platform was analyzed using experimental methods and data comparison. The application of WebGIS algorithm promoted the improvement of courses and classroom efficiency, while also promoting cross-border cooperation in professional fields, thus continuously promoting the openness and flexibility of electronic online learning platforms.
