The Use of Time Series Database in Measurements

This paper explores the use of InfluxDB for data analysis, storage, and visualization in measurement science. It focuses on the role of WiFi technology in real-time monitoring and data collection. Although the authors highlight a possible application of InfluxDB to particulate matter measurements, the database can be used for any need also in the field of electrical drives, machines or power electronics to store, analyze, and display measured data. The paper discusses the capabilities of InfluxDB capabilities in efficiently managing and analyzing time-based data and provides a guide for educators and students to effectively work with InfluxDB for data management.
