Modified Paired Transitions Algorithm for Solving the Problem of Multi QoS-Routing in Software Defined Networks of the Internet of Things Based on Fuzzy Logic

The problem of dynamic routing with ensuring the Quality of Service (QoS) in a Software Defined Network (SDN) of Internet of Things (IoT) devices is considered. A mathematical model of a the IoT SDN is given. The IoT SDN is represented as a graph containing node devices, communication links, and QoS functions that depend on communication links metrics. To solve the problem of multipath routing, it is proposed to use the Sugeno fuzzy inference system (FIS), which allows approximating the QoS function of communication links. The inputs of the FIS are the values of the metrics of the communication link. The output of the FIS is the value of the QoS of the communication link. The input and output linguistic variables (LV) and the rule base are described. A formula that determines the number of terms of the output LV depending on the number of terms of the input LV is given. A modification of the paired transmissions algorithm is proposed to ensure the QoS in the IoT SDN in the presence of a set of quality of service.
