Modeling the Interaction of Technological Objects at Production Sites in a Virtual Reality Environment

The article presents an approach for developing a technological site using virtual reality to demonstrate the interaction of technological objects. An analysis of different IDEs for 3D prototyping is conducted, the advantages and disadvantages of each are described. Also analyzed the output devices in VR. It describes the important stages of creating a project in the Unity environment - a cross-platform development environment for computer games. The stages of creating virtual reality scenes with the objects of CNC machines and industrial manipulators are shown. The software implementation of the user interaction with elements of the technological area using the MRTK SDK is demonstrated. In conclusion, the main advantages of applying virtual reality in mechanical engineering and related fields are described
