The Impact of Introducing Solar Radiation Concentration System for Solar Power Plants Under Conditions of the Russian Far North

The article is devoted to study the impact of introducing a solar radiation concentration system, consisting of Fresnel lenses, for solar power plants. The paper applies the requirements for the implementation of full-scale research in solar power facilities according the theory of experimental research. Methods for processing experimental data were used by calculating the average statistical indicators of the generating capacity of a solar power plant. Field studies were carried out in the central part of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) during February-March. The purpose of the study is to identify the nature of the impact of the solar radiation concentration system on the generation of electricity from a solar power plant in the winter-spring period of operation. It has been established that when using this system, the generation of electricity from a solar power plant increases by 16-17%, provided there are no factors that reduce the intensity of solar radiation. The results of study can be applied in order to improve the electric power efficiency of solar power facilities in of the Russian Far North.
