Student Individual Performance in Online Learning: Technology Adoption and Culture

Technology adoption and e-learning user culture are interesting to study because they provide insights into academic performance. However, the continued use of e-learning is needed so that academic performance is achieved. In line with the importance of technology adoption, the purpose of this study is to examine the impact of continuance intention on student performance with the support of the quality, usefulness, and effectiveness of e-learning. The study was conducted by analyzing online user behavior from students, where 491 quantitative questionnaire data were collected to test the research model. The research method is carried out through a survey of experienced e-learning students. The analysis was carried out using the SEM and IPA approaches with the SmartPLS analysis tool. The research hypothesis was tested based on the model and it was found that continuance intention can be influenced by the quality, usability, and effectiveness of e-learning. It is further known that student performance increases when it is supported by continuance intention. The importance of continuance intention as part of the results of technology adoption on the concept of e-learning. A culture of independent learning in e-learning will be formed if continuance intention is achieved by students. Information in this research becomes an input for e-learning providers, especially in evaluating e-learning performance.
