An Improved Synchronous Acquisition Method of Beidou B1C Signal

In view of the ambiguity in the synchronization process of Beidou-3 B1C signal, which leads to the false acquisition, according to the characteristic that the pilot component of B1C signal does not contain the navigation message, the message demodulation is realized by synchronization of the component information. In this paper, an unambiguous capture method based on B1C signal pilot component Quadrature Multiplexed Binary Offset Carrier (QMBOC) is designed. This method constructs the local reference waveform by intercepting and shifting the binary offset carrier (BOC) signal, and then through a series of correlation operations and arithmetic operations to improve the main peak and eliminate side peaks. This algorithm is simulated with several traditional algorithms, and the results show that the performance of the proposed algorithm is better than that of other algorithms. While suppressing ambiguity, the proposed algorithm retains a narrow main peak, improves the synchronization accuracy of the signal, and can accurately capture the B1C signal.
