A Blind Anti-jamming Algorithm for Array-based GNSS Receivers Using the MMSE Criterion

Anti-jamming techniques are critical to maintaining the functionality of global navigation satellite system (GNSS) receivers. In this work, a blind anti-jamming algorithm for array-based GNSS receivers is implemented based on the minimum mean square error criterion. In the practical implementation, the interference is suppressed first and the reference signal is obtained. Then, the cross-correlation vector between the received array data and the reference signal is estimated. Finally, the optimum array weight vector for each individual GNSS signal is calculated. Thus, the array can form multiple beams to obtain signal gain after jammer suppression. The performance of the algorithm is explored by theoretical analysis and verified by simulation results.
