The Enabling Role and Value Realization Mechanism of the Internet Economy on the Regional Homestay Economic Construction

With the in-depth development of Internet information technology, changes have taken place in the consumption demand, consumption mode and operation and management mode of homestay consumers, which has promoted the transformation of the traditional business model of homestay. The Internet has also changed the way companies operate, communicate with customers and interact with suppliers. The Internet is a global network connecting millions of computers around the world. It allows people to get information from anywhere in the world at any time. This is due to the use of software called “application”, which allows users to perform specific tasks, such as sending e-mail, playing games or watching videos online. Based on the strategic background of “Internet plus”, this paper analyzes the impact of the Internet on the business model of home stay from a theoretical perspective, and on this basis, discusses the feasible path of Internet based business model innovation of Zhejiang home stay. First of all, in order to study the characteristics of the Internet and explore the elements of the business model of Internet plus home stay industry, through the construction of the Internet plus home stay business model, and through innovation in the three major elements of market positioning, operating system, and profit model, it provides various possibilities for the combination of home stay product categories and service categories, and establishes closer links with its target customer groups to achieve win-win cooperation with complementary industries and competitive industries.
