Test Method of Projectile Drag Coefficient for Interior Ballistic

A test method for analyzing the projectile drag coefficient of interior ballistic based on the projectile breech pressure and the axial acceleration is proposed. This method takes advantage of an integrated onboard tester to obtain two mechanical parameters which are closely related on the timeline just through one test. After simple calculation, the drag coefficient curve of the projectile's motion in the gun bore is obtained, it provides real and effective data for improving the design and simulation of the gun bore structure.
