Research on Evaluation Method of BIM Application Level in Power Grid Engineering Project

In order to quantitatively evaluate the BIM application level of power grid engineering projects, from the perspective of the whole life cycle, the BIM application level evaluation index system of power grid engineering projects is established around the application level of BIM in the five stages of planning, design, bidding, construction, and operation and maintenance. Firstly, the combination ordered weighted averaging operator method is used to determine the index weight, afterwards, the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to evaluate the application level of BIM technology in power grid engineering projects, and the weak points of BIM application are sorted out. Finally, the evaluation method was applied to evaluate the BIM application level of a 220kV substation project. The results showed that the BIM application level of the project was relatively high, but the level of BIM application needs to be strengthened in terms of the level of information model creation, safety management and other aspects, which verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the evaluation method as well.
