Inspection Method for Standard Conformance of Two-Way Satellite Time Comparison Terminal

Two-way satellite time comparison is a common method to realize high-precision time and frequency comparison between two stations. It can meet user's demand for comparison precision of few nanoseconds and has good real-time performance. Two-way satellite time comparison terminal is the core of time comparison system. The terminals produced by various manufacturers have different interfaces and impassable protocols, resulting in poor interconnection and intercommunication between different manufacturers' products, which seriously affects the time comparison between different terminals produced by various manufacturers. In order to solve the problem, inspection method for standard conformance of two-way satellite time comparison terminal is proposed innovatively in the paper. This method takes the current relevant national standards as inspection basis. Through testing the interfaces and protocols of the two-way satellite time comparison terminal, the conformance between the inspected terminal and the selected inspection basis is analyzed and inspection report is obtained. The method effectively solves the problems of poor interconnection and intercommunication between products of different manufacturers. The inspection results can provide reference for the networking of the two-way satellite time comparison terminal. Further, it can promote the standardized application of two-way satellite time comparison equipment.
