MAC Layer Security Protection Based on Dynamic Trust Evaluation Mechanism

With the rapid development of smart grids, the need for secure communication in power line systems using the G3-PLC standard protocol has become increasingly critical. This paper proposes a novel approach to address communication security concerns by integrating a sensing layer as a sub-layer of the MAC protocol. The sensing layer incorporates wireless communication network security technology to enhance the overall security of the system. Furthermore, a dynamic trust evaluation mechanism model is introduced to assess the trust status of clients. Leveraging reinforcement learning, the proposed approach enables the server-side allocation of spectrum resources to clients based on their high trust value. This allocation mechanism effectively mitigates the presence of malicious users within the network, ultimately leading to their removal from the entire system. By achieving these objectives, our approach aims to ensure robust communication security within the network, thereby providing a reliable and secure environment for smart grid power metering applications.
