Optimization model for interactive multi-energy coupling in low carbon integrated energy systems

In this paper, we propose a model of a multi-energy coupled integrated energy system equipped with a concentrating solar power station and a carbon capture and power-to-gas conversion device. This model improves the system’s ability to consume wind and solar through the coordinated dispatch of electricity-heat-gas on both sides of the source and load. Second, a carbon trading mechanism considering the full cost. In detail, an economic value to carbon emissions is assigned and used to reduce emissions. To evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed model, the model is optimized using the commercial solver YALMIP/CPLEX. Results verify that the proposed model can effectively reduce wind and solar abandonment, substantially reduce the carbon emissions of the system.
