Study on Reservoir Characteristics Based on Deep Lateral Resistivity

Reservoir evaluation requires the study of various reservoir characteristics. Different rocks, oil and water in nature have different conductivity. After electrifying the rocks, logging curves such as spontaneous potential, deep lateral resistivity and so on can be obtained. Standardizing and analyzing the logging curves can identify the oil-bearing property and lithology of the reservoir more accurately. It can be known that the main lithology in this area are siltstone, sandy conglomerate and coarse sandstone. The average porosity of the reservoir is 8.2% and the average permeability is 0.6mD. The cores are oil spots, oil immersion, oil stains and rich in oil. The lower limit of sandstone resistivity range is
