Research on the Measurement Methods of Motor Vehicle Point-to-Point Speed Measurement Systems

This paper introduces the operating principle, the main specifications and the corresponding measurement methods of the motor vehicle point-to-point speed measurement system. This paper focuses on the measurement methods and the selection of the measurement standard of the interval distance, which is the key specifications of the system. At the beginning of this paper, the operating principle and the application situation of the system are introduced. Then, starting with the principle formula, the technical index requirements, the measurement methods and the measurement standard of the interval distance, the speed measurement range, the simulation speed measurement error and the field test speed measurement error are described respectively.
