Enhancing Maritime Safety Through IoT-Integrated High-Pressure Water Mist Fire Fighting System

In this research, a High-Pressure Water Mist Fire Fighting System is proposed that utilizes a combination of various sensors, including temperature, smoke, flame, pressure, leak, and IoT sensors, to detect and suppress fires effectively. The system works by detecting a fire using the sensors, triggering the fire suppression mechanism, and using high-pressure water mist to extinguish the fire. The proposed system offers several benefits over traditional fire suppression systems. Firstly, the use of water mist as an extinguishing agent provides better fire suppression efficacy compared to traditional fire suppression agents like water or foam. This is because water mist can penetrate deep into the fire, cool down the temperature, and reduce the concentration of flammable gases, thus putting off the fire.
