An intelligent chatbot system with multi-expression based on PyQt

In this paper, a multi-expression intelligent voice chatbot system is proposed for real-time human-machine interaction based on PyQt signal and slot mechanism. By calling the corresponding function of Baidu API interface, the real-time speech of the user and its emotion are recognized simultaneously. The recognized speech can be converted into text, and the corresponding statement is retrieved and fed back through the knowledge graph. The related speech is generated to complete the communication with the user. The recognized emotion can be taken as a signal, and be sent to the corresponding slot function by combining PyQt signal and slot mechanism, and then the real-time multi-expression switching can be carried out. Compared with existing chatbot systems, the proposed system can switch multiple expressions in real time according to the emotions involved by the user, which can improve the performance of chatbot's emotional expression.
