A Rad-Hard Time-to-Digital Converter ASIC with a Sub-10ps Single-Shot Precision

A rad-hard-by-design time-to-digital converter ASIC with a single-shot precision of sub-10ps is designed and validated in a standard CMOS technology. The presented electrical characterization and radiation results demonstrate the in-spec performance of the ASIC.
