Comparison of MSU and TAMU Heavy Ion Test Results and Evaluation Output Dependencies of SEUs for the LMK04832-SP

The LMK04832-SP (5962R1723701VXC) produced by Texas Instruments is a space grade JESD204B compliant clock conditioner with integrated VCOs that can provide clock signals up to 3.2 GHz on up to 14 outputs. It went through heavy ion testing monitoring for Single-Event Upsets of the clock outputs at Michigan State University's Facility for Rare Isotope Beams. During the testing, two outputs were monitored to determine if a single ion strike could impact more than one output. The results are compared to earlier test results from testing performed at Texas A&M”s Radiation Effects to determine how well the two facilities correlate.
