Scattering power decomposition of dual-polarization SAR data: application to PALSAR-2 and Sentinel-1 data

Scattering power decomposition method for polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data was extended to dualpolarization data in the previous study. The extended method was demonstrated an applicability to L-band SAR dual-polarization data. In this study, this method is applied to not only L-band but also C-band SAR dual-polarization data and evaluated the scattering mechanism caused by the different frequency SAR.
