3D Terahertz Imaging Technology for Non-Destructive Inspection

High-precision sensing technology using the terahertz band is required as a means of non-contact detection of hazardous substances and non-destructive foreign object inspection. In this research, in order to extend the current 2-dimensional imaging to 3-dimensional imaging, we prototyped a time analysis function for a 100 GHz bandwidth that distinguishes the arrival times of radio waves. By using the prototype function, it was confirmed that the object to be examined can be observed as a tomographic image.
