High Value-added Liquid Crystal materials for Automotive applications

This paper focuses on high value-added liquid crystal materials for automotive applications. In automotive usage, there is a wide temperature range requirement, necessitating LC mixture with high melting points (Tni). However, this requirement causes slower response time at lower temperature. Our research introduces a novel liquid crystal material that accelerates the response time, thereby improving the picture quality at low temperature. The results of this study hold promise for delivering high performance liquid crystal materials to the automotive display.
