Competition of OLED and LCD for Automotive Applications

The importance of displays in the automotive field is steadily increasing. In addition to display size and resolution, the requirements in terms of optical quality and flexible integrability in new vehicle interior concepts are increasing. This results in a competition that spans technologies, industrialization and business models. In this presentation the technological opportunities and challenges will be highlighted and the competition between OLED and LCD in the automotive environment will be discussed.
