Design and Implementation of an LLC Half-Bridge Resonant Converter for Isolated Gate-Driver Power Supply

An analytical design procedure of an LLC half-bridge resonant converter for isolated gate-driver power supply is presented in this paper. The proposed design method has been applied to an 8W isolated bias supply prototype. Experimental results validate the design methodology, also confirming this topology as a viable solution for low-power applications.
