Abstract:

Wearable technology is one such area of IoT that has shown rapid expansion in recent years. Devices that can collect and deliver data in real time, such as smartwatches, fitness trackers, smart glasses, and other wearable technology, can provide illuminating information on a person's performance, behavior, and health. This study looks at how wearable technology may improve the Internet of Things. This paper highlights a variety of possible applications and use cases that can be enabled by the combination of wearable devices with IoT, such as health monitoring and personalized services, by examining the present state of the art of wearable technology. The paper goes on to address the implications of such applications, particularly concerning privacy and security concerns, and offers methods for secure and dependable integration of wearable technology into the IoT.
