Application of Spatial Analysis Methods and Apriori Association Rule Algorithm in the Analysis of Spatial Distribution Characteristics of Traditional Villages in Anhui Province

Clarifying the spatial distribution characteristics of traditional villages can help to improve the understanding of the evolution of traditional villages, which is important to promote the protection and inheritance of traditional village civilization and implement the rural revitalization strategy. Based on the mean nearest neighbor analysis, kernel density estimation and standard deviation ellipse, quantitative analysis was conducted on the spatial distribution types, pattern characteristics, overall axial direction and center of gravity of traditional villages in 400 traditional villages in Anhui Province. The results showed that the distribution types of villages in Anhui province as a whole were agglomerative and mainly concentrated in the mountainous areas of southern Anhui. The nucleus density of villages decreases from south to north, and the overall distribution direction of villages is northwest-southeast. Because the influencing factors of village distribution are found to be diverse and correlated with each other, the Apriori association rule algorithm is used to explore the association rules among these factors. The Apriori association rule algorithm finds frequent data sets and establishes association rules through multiple scans of existing data sets. The results show that there is a strong correlation between poor accessibility of villages and high elevation and steep slope of villages, and a moderate correlation between small slope of villages and poor hydrophilicity and accessibility.
