Capacity Optimization and Performance Analysis of a Distributed PV-storage Energy System

To reduce carbon emission levels, an in-grid energy system combining photovoltaic (PV) and electric energy storage applicable to distributed parks has been modeled and evaluated. The configuration of PV and battery is optimized with the objectives of minimizing the annual expense and CO
2
emissions. Based on real yearly load of a park, single-objective and multi-objective optimization results are compared, and a typical week has been selected for the scheduling study. Besides, a sensitivity analysis is made for the fluctuation of electricity price to explore the corresponding energy storage scale and performance changes.
