Experimental Demonstration of Photonic Crystal Nanolaser with sub-µA Threshold Current

We demonstrate a photonic crystal laser exhibiting an ultra-low threshold of 732 nA. This is the lowest room-temperature value reported for any laser. Furthermore, the measured bandwidth shows that the laser facilitates low-energy on-chip links.
