Design and Implementation of Intelligent Parking Management System Based on OpenCV and B/S Architecture

This paper designs and implements an intelligent parking management system based on OpenCV and B/S architecture. The system utilizes computer vision and network technology to realize the functions of license plate recognition, parking space detection and fee management, which improves the operation efficiency and service quality of parking lots and promotes the development of urban transportation. This paper first introduces the functional architecture and role assignment of the system, then describes the OpenCV-based license plate recognition method, the features and operation process of B/S architecture, the selection and use of the front and back-end development framework, and finally describes in detail the design and implementation of the front and back-end communication process. The focus of this paper is on the adoption of the contour detection method to locate license plate areas, the use of the Django REST framework to create the interface, and the use of the Vue.js framework and element-ui component library to create the user interaction interface to achieve a cross-platform, easy-to-maintain and efficient web application. The research results of this paper have theoretical significance and practical value for solving urban parking problems, improving parking management and promoting the development of intelligent transportation field.
