Research on Power Load Characteristics and Cluster Analysis of 5G communication Base Stations

5G communication technology is the main development direction of the new generation of information and communication technology. Compared with the previous 4G communication of the same scale, the power consumption has increased significantly. The construction of new power systems is increasingly emphasizing the coordinated operation of "power-grid-load-storage", and it has strong engineering practical value to do a good job of 5G communication base station power load characteristic analysis and cluster analysis research. Firstly, the main energy consumption components of 5G communication base stations are analyzed, and their energy consumption characteristics are briefly analyzed for different components. Next, starting from the analysis of the correlation mechanism between the energy consumption of 5G communication base stations and mobile service load, the energy consumption model of 5G communication base stations under multiple dynamic influencing factors is clarified. Finally, the 5G base station electricity load data in a city is selected as the data source, and the DBSCAN clustering technology is used to classify these data into 6 typical application scenarios of communication base stations. Communication base station electricity friendly interaction provides the premise basis.
