Day-ahead Scheduling of Microgrids and DN Based on Stepped Carbon Allowance Transaction

The construction of a new power system needs to consider the access of a large number of microgrids (MGs). In this paper, we aim to make full use of the capability of MGs in distribution network (DN) scheduling and construct a low-carbon economic day-ahead scheduling model between the DN and MGs. Therefore, this paper first introduces the traditional day-ahead scheduling model (TDASM) and points out that the model has the disadvantage of having a large negative impact on the environment. Then, to improve the negative impact of the traditional model on the environment, a modified day-ahead scheduling model (MDASM) is constructed by introducing the stepped carbon allowance transaction cost on the basis of this model. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed model in terms of both economy and low carbon is verified by conducting simulation experiments on a modified IEEE 33-node system.
