Strength Check of Crankshaft Based on Double Shear Strength Theory

Based on the three-dimensional model and finite element analysis model of the crankshaft, the first stress, the second stress and the third stress contours of the crankshaft at eight crank angles are obtained. The double shear strength theory is used to check the strength of crankshaft. Compared with the previous strength check of crankshaft, the influence of tension and compression anisotropy of material and the effect of axial stress are considered, which makes the calculation results more credible. It provides a reference for the application of double shear strength theory in the static strength check of crankshaft.
