Research on the Fault Tree Analysis of Aeroengine High- Energy Debris Intolerance Based on the Monte Carlo

The process of research and development on the aero engine is long, complex and iterative. The system safety assessment is an indispensable part of the development process. This paper is based on the safety assessment example of “Aeroengine High-energy Debris Intolerance”. Based on the safety assessment example this paper first analyzes the relatively sensitive basic events, and then utilizes Monte Carlo method, which can calculate the probability combination of basic events which can satisfy the top event (Aeroengine High-energy Debris Intolerance) requirement.
