Impacts of Hydrogen Mixed Gas Turbines on Emissions under Different Penetrations of Wind Power and Solar Power

The integrated electrical and natural gas system is a significant part of the energy system. With the demand for the low carbon targets of energy systems, the hydrogen-blended combustion power generation technology of the gas turbine came into being. To this end, this paper proposes a dispatch method of the integrated electrical and natural gas system to explore the environmental implications of hydrogen mixed gas turbines under a range of different renewable penetration levels, and Hydrogen is provided for hydrogen mixed gas turbines by electrolytic water technology and configures hydrogen storage tanks and gas storage tanks as a consortium to provide backup for the system. The piecewise linearization method is used to linearly transform the Weymouth equation, and the non-convex non-linear model is transformed into a mixed integer linear programming model. The effectiveness and feasibility of this method are verified. The operation state of the system under different scenarios is analyzed. The deep exploration of renewable accommodation potential in the mode of wind power and photovoltaic-electrochemical water splitting-hydrogen mixed gas turbines is realized.
