A Novel Low-Carbon Regulation Method for Power Systems Based on Electric-Carbon Coordination

The novel power system environment is dominated by new energy sources, and the random, intermittent and fluctuating nature of new energy generation brings impact on the safe and stable operation of the power grid, and all aspects of power grid dispatching will change significantly. In order to fully exploit the synergistic regulation potential of each scheduling interaction of wind, hydro, thermal and storage, this paper constructs a multi-objective intelligent regulation architecture for power grids in the novel power system environment, and integrates regulation of power grids from the perspective of economy and low carbon, and builds an index evaluation system for low carbon operation of power grids from the generation side, grid side and load side. The simulation results of the Zhejiang provincial grid show that the proposed method can realize the low carbon and economic operation of the grid.
