Impact of Wind-Solar-Storage System Operation Characteristics on the Peak-Valley-Difference of Power Grid

In the context of new power system construction, the proportion of wind power (WP) and photovoltaic (PV) connected to the grid continues to increase, in order to improve the utilization rate of WP and PV, and reduce the impact of solar power fluctuations on the power system and the occupation of system flexibility resources, so the complementarity of WP and PV in time and space is used, and the ES of response power and capacity is installed to reduce the peak-valley-difference (PVD) of power grid. Firstly, the framework and operation mode of wind-solar-storage combined power generation system (WSS-CPGS) are described. Secondly, a multi-objective optimization model is constructed to reduce the output fluctuation and the maximum PVD of the WSS-CPGS, and the multi-objective weighting method and operation constraints are proposed. Finally, a numerical example is set to verify that the optimization model can effectively reduce the output fluctuation and the maximum PVD of the system. At the same time, the influence of energy storage power and capacity configuration on the WSS-CPGS is obtained through the analysis of examples.
