Analysis and Optimization of Wind Turbine Yaw Regulation Strategy

With the rapid development of wind power generation, wind turbines will develop with the goal of more stable, safer and higher power generation. However, the traditional yaw control system needs to follow the wind direction and need to be adjusted at any time, although the wind turbine's wind accuracy has been improved, but this will also make the wind turbine make a useless yaw and increase the load of the wind turbine, which will not only reduce the output power of the turbine, but also reduce the service life of the turbine. Therefore, a wind turbine yaw strategy based on the wind direction prediction results is proposed, and a new yaw strategy is proposed by combining the wind direction prediction results with the actual needs of the site, and compared with the traditional yaw strategy, the new wind turbine yaw strategy is proposed to have better results.
