A Joint Optimization Framework for Integration of Shared Electric Vehicles and Microgrids

Shared electric vehicles (SEVs) have been introduced as an affordable and convenient means of transportation. This paper considers an application scenario of SEV-microgrid integration in which SEVs can be used as mobile energy storage resources to shift energy between microgrids. To maximize the revenues of the SEV service centers (SSCs) within a certain geographical region, this paper proposes a joint optimization framework and considers the SSC revenues from providing demand response services to the local microgrids and responding to the demand response signals of other SSCs. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed framework works properly.
