Control By Wire (CBW) interface module for 48 V to 96 V electric motor controllers

This work presents the development of an interface module to work with 48V to 96V electric motors controllers in electric vehicles. The module is installed in series with the user controls and the controller inputs, guaranteeing the electric insulation between them. The module could be used in an Interlock safety loop to detect the disconnection or the opening of high voltage components. With a CAN bus optional control, the module also enables the adjustment of the controller functions and drive modes remotely. The use of the presented module contributes to the optimization of the vehicle electric circuits and safety.
